(More) useless information

Sorry, should have added that while Gove was making a statement to the House about £1 billion of education cuts, the press were also being briefed about another £1 billion of cuts, which he omitted to mention. What I found particularly galling was the way the former Lib Dem shadow Leader of the House, David Heath, seated opposite me across the Chamber, was so robustly defending Gove’s failure to keep us informed. He’d have been first to make a point of order in the old days. Another one who’s gone native.

    It is payback for the Labour government you served in always leaking to the press before giving statements to Parliament first. What goes around, comes around.
