#saveEMA

This makes me feel old…. Bridget Phillipson was one of the first sixth formers in the country to benefit from the Education Maintenance Allowance, as part of a pilot scheme. She’s now MP for Houghton and Sunderland South. Here she is speaking in support of the Save EMA campaign. (On Twitter as @SaveEMA).

Christ, that makes ME feel old, and I’m just over a year younger than her.

Although that doesn’t sound right – I’m sure EMA wasn’t around when I was at Sixth Form…
