T-shirts like these are on sale on loads of stalls in places like Camden Market. Do people think they should be?
I agree. Though I was given a rainbow coloured apron for Christmas with ‘THE ONLY GAY IN THE KITCHEN’ printed on it. I rather liked it, it was from my sister and she loves having a gay brother who cooks. But on the T shirt front I agree, it just perpetuates that being gay is something to be mocked and derided, even if it is only in jest. But actually it is merely poor humour camouflaging homophobia.
I would imagine closet cases wear them. It pretty ridiculous that some men feel they have to prove their masculinity by stating who they don’t sleep with. I could rant on for hours…
But you can’t go around banning t-shirts can you? CAN YOU?!!!
Crikey, that’s horrible… 😦
